We realize visiting a church for the first time is intimidating. Is anyone going to talk to me? What if people aren’t friendly, or too friendly? Will I feel uncomfortable during the service? Where can my kids go during the service? Do I have to give money during the offering? Is it okay to ask questions when I disagree or I don’t understand something? These are probably just a few of the questions running through your head.

At GBC we want your time with this community to be easy, enjoyable, and encouraging because that’s how Jesus is (Matt.11:28-30). When you come for our morning service “greeters” at the door will welcome you and direct you to the Welcome Center, if you have questions. Community members at the Welcome Center will answer your questions about the facilities or programs for kids. If you have kids, a Welcome Center volunteer will take you to the appropriate classroom or give you information. GBC has activities and learning times for children from 3 years old to 5th grade. Children who attend Sonshine Express or GracePlace transition from the service time to Sunday School without the parent. If you wish to pick-up your child after the service, let an usher or greeter know.

Junior and Senior High students meet separately during the Sunday School hour. Additionally, the Junior and Senior High meet at the church on Thursday nights at 7PM.

We want you to feel at home in our community. GBC is a safe place in which to explore faith and to learn about God. Keep an open mind and ask questions. We hope you’ll become a regular part of our community and help us welcome more newcomers to live for Jesus.
